Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

All employers should ensure that suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided to their employees who may be exposed to a risk to their health or safety while at work.

Personal Protective Equipment is our own personal line of defence against hazards that we come across at work and includes ear protection, arm and hand protection, eye protection, skin protection and head protection.

Industrial eye safety equipment is designed to protect your eyes when working in high risk areas or on potentially high risk jobs. Not only designed for protection against flying objects and contact with chemical exposure, but are made to fit with comfort over long periods of time.

Health and Safety safety gloves and other hand protection needs to offer a high level of protection against high risk opertaions and general day to day work wear. They are designed, not only to be comfortable, but to protect against glass and metal and can also protect against harmful chemical risk and exposures.

Head protection is required in almost every industry where there is a risk of being injured by falling objects or when working in areas of restricted head space. It is vital that helmets have a great fit, and these days technology allows for precision engineering to achieve this on an industrial scale. As well as physical protection many helmets have electrical and/or heat insulation.

Health and safety skin protection products are designed to work well as both skin cleaners and protectors for employees exposured to day to day elemets within their industry.
